Photo Arts

So working on my first jewelry piece. But until that is finished and because I'm a photo kid here's some photo art. First one is some cyanotypes I played with over the summer. They'll go on something this summer when I get my work area back.

These are my leave-behinds for a Portfolio Review we had in November. Since I primarily want to work with bands and music inspired photography I went with the concept of a CD box set. Brown box was bought at Barnes and Noble and the blue paper was bought at the bookstore. Purple envelope held a thank you note along with a business card. Thank you notes also bought at Barnes and Noble, I'm in the process of making my own line of cards.

This is a card I made for Chad's birthday. I was going for a natural color theme.

The inside of the card. I like how hand sewn stitches look and prefer it over using glue or paste.

Here's a few charms inspired by Schins. Now that I'm done with my Thesis I might have more time to make some more. If anyone has any good places to get unique and interesting beads/pendants let me know.

My attempts at jewellery making ends here (I don't know how you guys have the patience to deal with all those tiny beads ahghaghhh). Dangly charms are fun and easy to make.. if you want some I will bring some for you guys next class <3

Here's a bunch of bracelets I was having fun creating. All basically the same design with different beading patterns and colors. I was making these to sell at a show but found out they didn't allow any jewelry to be sold by artists only prints.

I got some nice ribbon and attached a chain for a clasp It was the first time attaching a crimp or making a necklace of any sort. The photography is my first attempt at taking a nice photo. I think it came out fairly professional.
